The Christ Child leans against the column, his arm resting on the flaming heart. With a silver cross bearing the instruments of the Passion, silver lance and sponge. Sandals of silver thread and a fabric robe, on a base of carved, gilded and marbled wood, profusely decorated with stylised foliate motifs.
